Eastern Idaho Children's Choir

 

The Eastern Idaho Children's Choir (EICC) is the premier children’s choir for youth ages 4-14 in Southeast Idaho, located in Idaho Falls.  Its mission is to teach youth to value and experience singing through musical activities which develop skills, sharing, self expression and personal growth, resulting in a lifelong appreciation for choral music.  

 

EICC consists of three choirs.  First Voices is a pre-choir experience for students to develop intonation, rhythm skills and a general appreciation for music.  Prelude Choir is an entry level choir emphasizing unison singing, beautiful tone, ear training and musical activities that teach note reading skills.  These two choirs perform two major concerts per year.  Lyric Choir is for the more experienced singers.  These singers will develop advanced ear training and note reading skills, and will perform in two major concerts as well as participating in smaller performances within the community throughout the year.   Registration begins in May for the fall season, and choir practice begins September 15 and 16, 2010.  Registration will be open either until classes are full or until the third week of class.   REGISTRATION is still open until September 30, 2010.  Complete registration form and mail to address provided.  For more information contact Dana Gallant.
