IFYAC Camps
Summer Theater Camp The Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre is currently in its 15th year of creating performances and instructional opportunities in all aspects of theater. Young people ages 8-17 are invited to attend one of the most popular summer activities in Idaho Falls. Dates for the 2011 Summer Theatre Camp are July 9-19, 2012 (no Saturday or Sunday) at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium. Budding actors and stagehands will learn and practice the art of theatre through acting, voice, dance, make-up, costuming, set/light and sound construction. All students who participate in the nine-day program will be involved in the final production . No previous experience is necessary for this educational camp, but auditions are required for lead roles. Cost for the camp is $125 for IFYAC members and $135 for non-members, and includes a t-shirt, supplies and daily snack. Registration for the 2012 Summer Theater Camp will open spring 2012.
