Summer Theater Camp
The Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre is currently in its fourteenth year of creating performances and instructional opportunities in all aspects of theater. Young people ages 6-17 are invited to attend one of the most popular summer activities in Idaho Falls. Dates for the 2011 Summer Theatre Camp are to be determined. Budding actors and stagehands will learn and practice the art of theatre through acting, voice, dance, make-up, costuming, set/light and sound construction. All students who participate in the nine-day program will be involved in the final production. No previous experience is necessary for this educational camp, but auditions are not required for lead roles. Please check back in February for cam and audition dates. Cost for the camp is $125 for IFYAC members and $135 for non-members, and includes a t-shirt, supplies and daily snack. A limited number of scholarships are available.
